​South African Ambassador finishes working term in VN

South African Ambassador to Vietnam Kgomotso Ruth Magau visited and said goodbye to State President of Vietnam Tran Dai Quang at the Presidential Palace in Hanoi yesterday after he finished his working term in the country.

At the reception, President Tran Dai Quang congratulated the ambassador of the South Africa on his good working term in Vietnam; and highly appreciated his contributions in boosting the friendship and multifaceted cooperation ties between the two nations.

The Vietnamese leader strongly affirmed that Vietnam always respects strengthening relationships with the partner as well as African countries, and considered those as a priority in diplomatic policies.

He pleasured active development in Vietnam- South Africa relationships, meetings between the countries’ high- ranking delegations, mutual cooperation at international and regional forums, and the bilateral turnover of both sides as it has reached up to US$ 1 billion in recent years.

Cooperative potentiality between Vietnam and South Africa is large, so president Tran Dai Quang desired to hasten comprehensive cooperation in the fields of trade, education, tourist, natural resources and environment and mine ores.
