The Vietnam Fishing Association and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development on November 22 offered the third Vietnam Seafood Golden Quality Awards to 101 individuals, organizations and businesses with significant contributions to the country’s seafood industry.

Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Vu Van Tam said that the awardees were good examples in seafood exploitation and processing.
They have contributed a lot to improve Vietnamese seafood’s quality and value, he said.
Besides, they have obtained much achievement in social and charitable activities, he added.
He expressed the hope that they would continue leading the way in developing the seafood industry stable and sustainable.
After launching a vote for the award five months ago the organization board received documents from over 300 candidates nationwide.
