Ten outstanding Vietnamese young people honored

A meeting to honor ten outstanding young people in Hanoi on March 19 in the Vietnam Television was held by the central Youth Communist Union and the Vietnam Young Talent Support Fund.

Those who were honored in the meeting have gained impressive achievements in their field. For instance, Dao Xuan Hoang with Monkey Junior, a children’s English teaching software for children aged from four months to 10 years old, won the first prize for an education app at the Global Innovation through Science and Technology Competition 2016 in the US. Dinh Thi Huong Thao won gold medals in International Physics Olympiads in 2015 and 2016 and also received the Third Labor Medal.

In the government office, on the same day, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc met ten outstanding young people and other ten promising persons.

PM Phuc emphasized that the party and the government will offer favorable condition for the young people to contribute to the country’s growth recognizing young talented person’s practical contribution. He added that pursuing higher education is not only way and disability still can contribute to the society.

“Young talented persons are good examples for others”, said the PM

PM Phuc proposed the Communist Union, the fund and local governments to have practical deeds to support the talents and startup young people.
