“Tet for the poor and AO victims” program comes to Quang Ngai

A delegation of officials from the Vietnam Red Cross Society and Quang Ngai Province led by Politburo member and Chairman of the Party's Central Commission for Propaganda and Education, Vo Van Thuong visited and offered Tet gifts to 100 victims of Agent Orange  and families under preferential treatment policies in Tu Nghia District’s Nghia Phuong Commune on January 10.

The annual event is part of the “Tet for the poor and AO victims” program that was launched in 1999 by the Vietnam Red Cross Society and the Party's Central Commission for Propaganda and Education.

The program aims to mobilize at least 1 million Tet gifts to help 1 million disadvantaged families to enjoy a warm and happy Tet.
