Vice chairman of the People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, Tat Thanh Canh received Rear Admiral Wasan Boonneung, who is Deputy Director of the Maritime Enforcement Coordinating Center in the First Naval Area on May 26.
The vice chairman highly appreciated the traditional relationship and cooperation between Vietnam and Thailand, especially in politics, economy, tourism, trade, supporting industry and diplomatic ties.
Rear Admiral Wasan Boonneung Waston Boonneung also hoped that the cooperation and relationship between the two countries have been growing stronger; and Vietnam and Thailand naval forces would continue to join offshore patrols every year.
