Three tourists die in a traffic accident in Laos

On April 21 afternoon, all the victims of the  traffic accident in Laos were brought to the Emergency Hospital in Nghe An province

Some have recovered from danger, some were transferred to hospitals, some people who were slightly injured returned home and got treatment at home.

The victims were in a group of tourists, mainly from Son La and Ha Noi and travelled to Laos and Thailand in 7 days. After arriving at Vinh (Nghe An), two groups from Hanoi and Son La merged into one, taking a tour of a tourist company located in Vinh city.

On April 20 morning, the group of 36 people hired a bus going along Laos Highway number 8 through Cau Treo international border gate (Ha Tinh province).

After lunch in the town of Lac Sao (Bolikhamxay province, Laos) the groups continued the journey.

However, after 20 minutes the bus unexpectedly rolled over down the road.

The accident claimed three fatalities,  Nguyen Huu Chu (Hanoi), Phung Thi Oanh (Hanoi) and Nguyen Hong Kiem (Quang Ninh).

28 other victims were taken to the Emergency Hospital in Nghe An in the different conditions, such as chest trauma, multiple trauma, broken collarbone.
