Tomb of Thieu Tri to Be Restored by 2010


The Tomb of Thieu Tri

An amount of over VND106 billion will be used for the restoration and preservation of King Thieu Tri' Tomb, approved Viet Nam’s Ministry of Culture and Information.

The expenditure on the restoration, financed by national and local budgets, will be on repairing some historical objects of the tomb, among which are Nhuan Trach and Ngung Thuy Ponds.

In addition, fire control system, electricity system and other important works for the maintenance and management of the tomb of the third emperor of Nguyễn Dynasty will be mended along with the said objects.
