Training vessel Badaro pays friendly visit to Vietnam

A training vessel Badaro of Coast Guard Academy of the Republic of Korea carrying 170 officers and crew members docked at Tien Sa port of Danang city yesterday afternoon to  start an official friendly visit to Vietnam from May 3- 6.

Representatives of Department of Danang city Foreign Affairs, Vietnam Marine Police High Command, the High Command of Military Zone 5, Military High Command and Border Guard High Command of Danang city welcomed the delegation.

At the welcome ceremony, two sides posted a memories photo album, and Korea’s training vessel officers invited Vietnamese representatives to tour their ship.

During four day visit, crew members of training vessel Badaro plans to tour from Danang to Quang Nam province to pay courtesy to Coast Guard Region 2 in Da Nang.

Vietnam Coast Guard collaborated with the Republic of Korea’s Coast Guard Academy to organize a volleyball competition and a panquet.

As plan, Korean crew members are going to pay courtesy to leaders of the People’s Committee of Danang city before they leave Vietnam on May 6.
