Trucks must be installed with tracking devices before July 1

Trucks of 7-10 tons must be granted with transport business licenses and badges and installed with global positioning system (GPS) tracking devices before July 1 this year, instructed the Directorate for Roads of Vietnam.

In an instruction to the Vietnam Registration Department and provincial and municipal transport departments, the directorate defined that the deadline will be before July 1, 2017 for trucks of 3.5-7 tons.

The agencies are responsible for guiding related sides to implement this regulation.
