An Uncle Ho temple was inaugurated on Friday in the southernmost province of Ca Mau to worship late President Ho Chi Minh, who is referred to as Uncle Ho.

The Vietnamese-designed temple covers more than 2,000 square meters inside the Sports and Culture Center of Dam Doi District. The construction cost over VND3 billion (more than US$186,000), which came from Vietnamese officials, residents and soldiers.

It is not only where people go to worship Uncle Ho but also a venue for major public holidays in Viet Nam.
