Upgrade on children’s revolutionary-historical relic site inaugurated in Da Lat

An upgrade inauguration of the revolutionary-historical relic site, Da Lat Children’s Prison was organized on April 25 by the People’s Committee of the highland province of Lam Dong.

The Da Lat Children’s Prison was set up in early 1971 with a name “Da Lat Education Centre for adolescents and children” by the US aggressors. More than 600 young revolutionary soldiers aged 12–15 years across the nation were jailed from 1971-1973.

Around 320 ex-prisoners attended the event and joined an exchange to review the glorious history of unity in struggle for liberation.

The historical relic site has been officially opened to the public and becomes a place for patriotic education of young people.
