UPS Vietnam donates 1,700 volunteer hours in Global Volunteer Month

Employees of UPS-Vietnam Joint Stock Company donated more than 1,700 volunteer hours to community service events in localities throughout the country, as part of the company’s 15th annual Global Volunteer Month.

In October, UPS Vietnam employees took part in a range of charity activities, such as improving the living environment for the disabled at the vocational center in Ho Chi Minh City’s District; free meals to homeless and disabled people in Thu Duc District and Tien Giang Province, gardening and preparing meal at the SOS Children’s Village in Ben Tre.
In 2017, the UPS Foundation raised US$87,000 to provide education to children and support the sustainable development of rural industries in Vietnam.
UPS’ employees on five continents participated in the company's 15th annual Global Volunteer Month. In October, about 335,000 volunteer hours were donated to 240 community service events taking place across North America, Europe, Latin America, Asia Pacific and Indian subcontinent, Middle East and Africa (ISMEA).
