USAID announces development Cooperation Strategy in Vietnam

The United State Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City in collaboration with United State Agency for International Development (USAID) announced development of a cooperation strategy of USAID in Vietnam for 2014- 2018 on March 25.

In the next five years, USAID will continue to assist Vietnam in strengthening state governing to help Vietnam to implement economic reforms, promote development in training for university-level, improve health, support people with disabilities and others, said Director of United State Agency for International Development in Vietnam Joakim Parker.

The total expense for the assistance will cost US$344 million.
