Vice President gifts to pediatric patients in Da Nang

Vietnamese Vice President Nguyen Thi Doan July 6 visited and gifted to child patients who are being treated at the Hoan My Da Nang Hospital.

Vice President encouraged patients’ relatives and delivered 34 gifts to the sick children at the hospital, worth VND2 million (US$94) each. 

Doan attended the charity heart operation on four-year-old Nguyen Thi Quynh Quyen, daughter of an impoverished family in island Ly  Son in the central province of Quang Ngai, during her visit.

Doan praised the foreign-private cooperation model whicl manifests the good direction of the Party and the Government in calling social contribution to healthcare sector.

She asked hospital leaders to care more about the children of soldiers and officers who are on duty at sea and islands.

Vice President Nguyen Thi Doan is also Chairwoman of the Protection Council of the Vietnam Fund for Child Protection.
