Vice State President shares sorrow with fire victims’ relatives

Vietnamese Vice State President Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh yesterday visited victims’ relatives in the fire incident in Carina Plaza in District 8, taking place in the morning.

The vice state president shared the sorrow of dead people’s relatives, on behalf of the Party and the government, she sent the condolences to their loss. She emphasized that the incident is a heartbreaking lesson in management of condominium - home of many people.
Accordingly, people’s safety is top priority and training of firefighting skill must be provided to residents to prevent human and property loss.
According to her, the most important task is to treat injured victims . Moreover, she asked local party and administrations to support and take care of victims’ families.
Ms. Thinh gave VND5 million and VND3 million to each family of dead people and family of injured people respectively.
On the day, she visited and gave condolences to family of Ms. Luu Le Bich Phuong, Party Chief and Chairman of People’s Committee in Ward Nguyen Thai Binh, in District 1. She fell from the 14th floor.
