Vietnam attaches importance to developing ties with China

Party General Secretary Nong Duc Manh affirmed Vietnam always attaches importance to developing relations with China while receiving the Head of the Chinese Communist Party Central Committee’s International Liaison Department, Wang Jiarui, in Ha Noi on Dec. 29.

The Party leader expressed his pleasure at the development of relations and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and China , stressing the building of a comprehensive strategic partnership between the two States and Parties is in accordance with the two people’s desire and benefits.

He pointed to the need to increase cooperation between party agencies, particularly in personnel training and national construction.

Wang Jiarui informed the Party leader of his talks with the Head of the Vietnam Communist Party Central Committee’s External Relations Commission Tran Van Hang on Dec. 26, during which they discussed measures to boost the exchange between the two Parties, especially in personnel training and Party building, and regional and international issues of common concerns.
