Vietnam & China to increase cooperation on defense & security

State President of Vietnam Tran Dai Quang yesterday welcomed Chinese State Councilor and Minister of Public Security Guo Shengkun at the Presidential Palace in Hanoi on his visit to Vietnam to attend the fifth ministerial conference on anti-crime cooperation between the public security ministries of Vietnam and China.

At the reception, the State president stressed that Vietnamese Party, State and people have always respected the development of stable relations with China. The strengthening of cooperation between twosides in diplomatic, defense & security and law enforcement fields play important role, added the president. 

Mr. Tran Dai Quang highly appreciated close colloboration as well as adopting effectively cooperative agreements between the public security ministries of Vietnam and China against cyber, drug, and human trafficking crimes.

Nex year, both Vietnam and China will host major events such Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) meetings in Vietnam and the 19th Chinese National Party Congress, so defense & security gruarantee and cooperation between Vietnam and China is suitable for common benefits.
