Vietnam continues reducing poverty, build new style rural and modern urban areas

Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc and Chairman of Central Committee of Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Nguyen Thien Nhan yesterday co-signed a joint resolution between the Government and leader of Fatherland Front Committee about cooperation of reducing the rate of poor household, building up new style rural and civilized urban areas at governmental headquarter in Hanoi.

The resolution targets national campaigns, projects and state policies relating to reduce the rate of stable poor families, to build new style rural and civilized urban areas via the campaign of “The whole people stand united to build new rural areas and civilized urban” being launched by VFF.

Pursuant to the resolution, VFF will supervise environmental protection and food safety, deliver and use efficiency for capital source of the State, monitor the commenting process and recognize new rural area standard communes, districts, model of cultural families and residential areas and others.
