Sharing with the Vietnamese leader, Mr. Makhter Diop said that many countries desired to learn experiences of the Southeast Asian country for its success of transferring from a low-income to a middle-income country, contributing in macroeconomic and social stability.

Currently, Vietnam's demand for infrastructure development and investment is large; therefore, the nation wants to receive WB's assistances in the fields of clean energy such as solar and wind power, infrastructure, electrical energy development, improving regulations for Public–Private Partnership (PPP).
