Vietnamese killed in road accident in Thailand

Twelve Vietnamese and a Thai driver were killed in a road accident in the northeastern Thai province of Chaiyaphum on June 2, local media reported.

The Bangkok Post said among the deaths, nine were men. The four injured were rushed to hospital.

The accident happened when an overloaded coach hit a trailer truck and burst into flames in Kaeng Khro district.

The coach was among four hired to take a visiting group of Vietnamese tourists from Bangkok to the northeastern province of Nong Bua Lam Phu , the newspaper reported.-VNA
