Vietnamese Youth Meeting Held in Moscow

More than 230 young men of Vietnamese nationality or Vietnamese origin took part in a four-day meeting beginning Sunday in Moscow.

At the beginning of the meeting, a letter from President Nguyen Minh Triet was read. It said that Vietnamese people never forget their origin and they have overcome barriers to earn remarkable achievements in study as well as labor.

There were various activities at the meeting including a photo exhibit entitled, “President Ho Chi Minh and overseas Vietnamese”, talks about matters domestic and overseas youth, artistic festivals, traditional folk games.

The Committee for Overseas Vietnamese Affairs, Vietnamese Youth Union, the Viet Nam Embassy and youth organizations in Russia and Europe organized the meeting.
