During three day event, an opening meeting marking the World Ocean Day and Vietnam's Sea and Islands Week under theme of “For green planet”, a launching ceremony of young volunteers to clean environment at beaches, bike parade will be organized at Thinh Long beach of Hai Hau district, Nam Dinh.
In response to the eighth Vietnam’s Sea and Islands Week, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment asked relevant ministries, departments, People’s Committees of the provinces and cities nationwide to strengthen further mobilization activities on sea, islands' protection.
The annual environmental event contributes to raise public awareness in sovereignty protection over Vietnam’s sea, islands.
