VN President meets ambassadors & chiefs of representative offices abroad

On the occasion of the 29th Diplomatic Conference, at the Presidential Palace, Vietnamese President Tran Dai Quang had a meeting with ambassadors and chiefs of Vietnam’s representative offices abroad who returned home to attend in the conference.

At the reception, Mr. Tran Dai Quang shared the country's outstanding achievements in the development progress of economy, culture, society, defense and security, international integration, relation building with important partners, the country’s sovereignty protection.

The state president affirmed that the overseas representative agencies have paid contributions for the country's achievements. He also suggested that the agencies and offices should continue innovating and seeking measures to increase foreign affairs activities and international integration; strengthening further cooperative ties and solidarity between international friends with Vietnam, rising Vietnam’s positions at international forums.

On the same day, at the Presidential Palace, President Tran Dai Quang also granted title of the first class ambassador for five outstanding individuals of Vu Viet Anh, Nguyen Thanh Tan, Vu Dang Dung, Cao Tran Quoc Hai and Tran Xuan Thuy.
