WB to support for Vietnam to cope with climate change

Vietnamese President Truong Tan Sang yesterday had a warm receipt with World Bank (WB) Country Director for Vietnam Victoria Kwakwa who came to bid farewell at the end of her tenure in Vietnam, at Presidential Palace in Hanoi.

At the meeting, president Sang highly appreciated supports of WB leaders in past years, especially in socio-economic development and poverty- alleviation movement.

Mrs. Kwakwa affirmed that WB would continue to collaborate with Vietnam’s ministries, departments and local authorities to issue effective solutions in coping with climate change.

On the same day, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung also received Mrs. Victoria Kwakwa.
