Women entrepreneurs contribute actively to country’s development

Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Vietnam Association of Women Entrepreneurs jointly organized an exchange program themed “Vietnamese businesswomen in the Ho Chi Minh Era” at Hanoi Opera House yesterday morning.

Attending the event were Vietnamese State President Tran Dai Quang, Minister of Industry and Trade Tran Tuan Anh, Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam Women's Union Nguyen Thi Thu Ha, representative leaders of ministries and agencies, heroic Vietnamese mothers, female veterans, former female youth volunteers, female foreign ambassadors in Hanoi, and 300 outstanding businesswomen across the country.
 
The State President congratulated and honored outstanding achievements as well as great contributions of Vietnamese businesswomen as well as women entrepreneurs association in building and developing the country.

Although the association has just established since October, 2014, the agency has launched series of practical activities in order to support and prove its important role in the country’s industrialization and modernization and international integration.

On the occasion, Ministry of Public Security granted certificates of Ministry of Industry and Trade to nine groups and 79 outstanding individuals from Vietnam entrepreneurs association. The Central Vietnam Women's Union also offered certificate to the Executive Committee of Vietnam Women Entrepreneurs Association.

Besides, Vietnam Women Entrepreneurs Association presented seven deposit books to heroic Vietnamese mothers and former female youth volunteers.
