Young communist members in HCMC with volunteer activities on Saturday

Almost 10,000 members of youth communist unions in districts, universities, factories and companies in Ho Chi Minh City joined volunteer activities in Saturday on March 8.

Youth in Tan Binh District picked up litter along Hoang Sa and Truong Sa Streets and cleared water-fern and released various fish at the Nhieu Loc Canal.

Young communist members served food to the homeless and patients in the Tumor Hospital in Districts 8 and Binh Thanh.

Other groups repaired electricity systems in small alleyways to prevent hazards.
Young volunteers in Binh Tan, Thu Duc, Go Vap, Hoc Mon, Nha Be districts, and in companies such as Customs Department, SaiGon Commercial Company, Social Labor, Economics, Banking universities donated blood, built cement roads, taught English to workers, donated gifts to homeless children and helped foreign tourists register for temporary residency.

The Youth Communist Union in HCMC, the Department of Health and Humanity Blood Donation Center worked together to set up a blood donation source for the city.
