Additional heat wave hits northern and central provinces

Because of the influence of an outgoing hot low pressure system from westwards, a new heat wave experiences on the large- scale in the area of the northern and central provinces on Friday, reported yesterday the National Hydrology Meteorology Forecast Center.

Accordingly, the daily temperature in the northern and central provinces is predicted to measure at 35- 37 degrees Celsius, up to 38- 39 degrees Celsius in some places.

From April 18, the highest daily temperature of 35- 38 degrees Celsius will shoulder over the northwestern provinces from Thanh Hoa to Quang Ngai.

Meanwhile, hot weather will maintain at 34- 35 degrees Celsius in Ho Chi Minh City and the southern region at weekends. By next week, the temperature will reduce sharply due to appearance of showery weather.
