Authorities deal with tropical low-pressure in East Sea

The National Committee on Natural Disaster Prevention and Control this morning sent its dispatch to Ministry of Transport, Ministry of Trade & Industry and provinces from Quang Ninh to Ca Mau to ask authorities to deal with low-pressure system in the areas and the South part of East Sea.
Authorities deal with tropical low-pressure in East Sea

The National Center for Hydro Meteorological Forecasting said a low-pressure zone centered at 8.7-9.7 degrees north latitude, and 117.9-118.9 degrees East longitude.

It is forecast that in next 24 hours, the zone may move in west and west north and develop into a tropical low-pressure.

The coastal provinces of Binh Thuan-Ca May, Ca Mau-Kien Giang will experience heavy rains and strong thunderstorms and possible whirlwinds.

The National Committee asked related provinces announce to fishing vessels’ owners, fishing boats which are working at sea to move to safer places.
