Bebinca typhoon heading to Tokin Gulf

The National Center for Hydro Meteorological Forecasting said this morning a low-pressure system in the south part of Guangdong (China) developed into this year’s fourth typhoon named Bebinca.

At 7am this morning, it centered at 20.6 degrees north latitude, 112.8 degrees east longitude on the sea area of south part of Guangdong province (China). The strongest winds near its center was expected to reach at 60 to 75 km per hour.

In the next 24 hours, the typhoon will move east east southward with its speed at 5km per hour and be able to gain strength.

At 7am on August 14, it will center at 20.8 degrees north latitude, 113.3 degrees east longitude on the south part of Guangdong province (China). The strongest winds near its center will be at 60 to 75km per hour.

In the next 48 to 72 hours, the typhoon will move west west south with its speed at 10km per hour. On august 16, it will center in the area of the Tokin Gulf, 120 to 150km from the coastal provinces of Quang Ninh to Nam Dinh.

The strongest winds near its center is expected to reach at 60 to 75km per hour.
