Binh Phuoc quickly overcomes consequences of cyclone

Facing to serious damages of a recent powerful cyclone, functional agencies of Binh Phuoc province have joined hand to help local people overcome difficulties and consequences.

Accordingly, the powerful cyclone swept through Binh Phuoc’s two districts of Bu Dang and Bu Dop on March 14 which destroyed more than 20 hectares of cashew, 4 hectares of rubber and pepper plantation, ten houses and six electric poles with total damage up to over VND 10 billion.

Currently, local people repair their houses and clean up fallen trees to quickly stabilize their lives and production.

Affected households received VND1 million each from budget fund for natural disaster prevention of the districts.
