Floods accompanied by high tides led difficulties to people in the Mekong Delta province of Can Tho.

Early morning October 7, water levels suddenly rose up, submerging many streets in downtown city. Many households living alongside Hau River were flooded.

Local people said water level was measured at 0.5m higher than that compared to previous month.

The National Center for Hydro Meteorological Forecasting said in the next three days, water levels from upstream and downstream areas would continue to rising up above warning levels two and three.
