A tropical low pressure was located at six degrees north latitude and 103, 4 degrees east longitude on November 7, entering Vietnam’s northern territorial water from Ca Mau to Kien Giang province, reported by the Central Meteorology Hydrology Forecast Center.
In the next 24 hours, the pressure zone is forecast to move westwards with its speed of 5-10 kilometers per hour. Due to influence of pressure circulation, strong wind, showery weather and thunderstorms will generate the southern territorial waters from Binh Thuan to Kien Giang province.
In addition, a cold front is moving to the southern region, affecting directly to the east- Northern provinces on November 8, and later it is predicted to affect directly to Thanh Hoa – Thua Thien Hue provinces, said the Central Meteorology Hydrology Forecast Center.
Because of its influence, northern region will experience showery weather. The east- north wind will measure at level 6-8 in the Gulf of Tonkin and northern East Sea region on November 9. Meanwhile, a cold spell will sweep through the Northern provinces in next days.
