Cold spell hits north starting April 6 ​

The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting said a cold spell and rain is estimated to hit the northern region and Hanoi capital on the large scale starting April 6.

As plan, from April 2 to 5, Hanoi and provinces in the north continue facing heat wave and the highest temperature is around 29 to 32 Celsius degree. However, on April 6, a cold spell will spread in the country and effecting the north on the large scale causing heavy rain and thunderstorm.

In the provinces in north central region on April 6 to 7 and the central -central region on April 7 to 8 will suffer cold spell with strong winds.

The center warned people should prepare for a hail, whirlwind triggered by the cold spell.
