Cold Spell hits nothern region

The National Central for Hydro-Meteorological Forecast Center and Asia Pacific Region International Hydrology Meteorology Forecast Center yesterday said a cold spell is moving to Vietnam.

The center said that in mid-week a cold spell will hit the mountainous nothern provinces bringing down the temperature to under 20 degrees Celsius.

The cold spell will only effect the northern provinces and be able to cause heavy rains, stone rain accompanied by some storm and floods.

While in the central & Southern provinces, the highest temperature will increase to 35 -38 degree celsius. On May 12, heat wave will be able to drop in the central and southern region.
