Dau Tieng- Phuoc Hoa Irrigation Exploitation Company will continue to release water at 200 cubic meters per second on Saigon River, aiming to ensure safe of the water level of the reservoir.
This information was released by the Central Steering Committee for Flood and Storm Prevention and National Committee for Search and Rescue in Ho Chi Minh City yesterday.
Because of the influence of high tide level on Saigon River, Dau Tieng Irrigation Exploitation Company will plan for releasing water in the coming days.
Dau Tieng Reservoir releases water that will not affect to traffic problem in districts.
According to weather forecast, the highest tide level measured 1, 28 meters at Saigon River’s Phu An Station over warning level 1 in the next five days.
The Central Steering Committee for Flood and Storm Prevention and National Committee for Search and Rescue in Ho Chi Minh City also required relevant departments, units and local authorities to keep close watch on the problem which may be worsened by the tide.
