Flood season to early hit Mekong Delta region

According to the Central Hydrology Meteorology Forecast Center, this year's flooding season will early occur in the Mekong Delta region.

Floodwater in stations of Tan Chau and Chau Doc is forecast to be higher than the same period of every year because of an influence of flood tide and downpour. 

This year's average rainfall  is also predicted to be higher at 0.45- 0.55 meter than every year.  

By the end of June, the floodwater in stations of Tan Chau and Chau Doc will be able to increase up to 2.5- 3 meters. 

The Central Hydrology Meteorology Forecast Center asked the localities need to update the information as well as eye rainy weather to timely cope with the natural disaster.
