It will be sunny and clear with temperatures swinging between 24 and 33 degrees Celsius in Ho Chi Minh City from January 1-3, 2016, according to the National Hydro Meteorological Forecasting Center.

From January 1-5, the southern region will be sunny in daytime with the highest temperature rising to 30-33 degree. Some places will see shower at night with the mercury falling to 24-27 degrees at the lowest.
The northern region will be cold. Northwest provinces will be cloudy with scattered rain at night and in mornings. It will be sunny at noon and in afternoons.
Parts of Hanoi and northeastern provinces will have rain. Mountainous areas will be chilly.
Central provinces from Thanh Hoa to Thua Thien-Hue will be cold with showers and thunderstorms in places.
Some areas from Da Nang city to Binh Thuan province will be rainy. The weather is likely to be a bit warmer with the mercury swinging from 26-31 degrees.
The Central Highlands will see the lowest temperature of 17-20 degrees with scattered showers at night. Daytime will be sunny with the highest temperature of 27-30 degrees.
