By November 6, heavy rains caused a faster rise of flood level on local rivers from Quang Binh to Binh Dinh provinces, warning at level 1- 2, even up to over level 2 in some places.
A landslide occurred in the area of ward 6 in Tuy Hoa city, Phu Yen and it swallowed 1, 2 kilometers length of coastal region and 150- 300 meters of the mainland. At present, local authorities in the central region moved 11 households to safer places.
In Khanh Hoa province alone, six deaths and one missing person were due to heavy rain and flash flood.
More than 300 houses were destroyed completely, residents' life and travel in the areas of Khanh Hoa and Binh Dinh province were affected badly by the weather situation.
