Heavy to heavy rain and high flood tide caused serious flooding as well as difficult traffic in some places.

Water level on Sai Gon River and main canals as Tau Hu- Ben Nghe, Xang and others has increased.

The serious flooding happened in some streets of Ho Ngoc Lam, Le Van Luong, Huynh Tan Phat, the National Highway 50, road junction of Vo Van Ngan- Pham Van Dong, Hanoi Highway, An Lac Roundabout and National Highway 1A.

The highest water level in the areas was measured at 30-60 centimets, causing congestion and difficulties for vehicles travelling through the streets, even triggering engine failure vehicles.

Some places in Binh Thanh district were reported several hour flooding and traffic jam.
