Heavy rainfall drenches central region of Vietnam

A cold front in combination with a northward low pressure trough has caused heavy rainfall in central provinces from Ha Tinh to Khanh Hoa, has announced National Hydro Meteorological Forecasting Center.

Provinces from Thua Thien-Hue to Khanh Hoa will continue seeing heavy downpours today October 4.
Flooding may occur in rivers in Quang Nam and Binh Dinh provinces, where are warned of flash flood and landslide in mountain areas and flooding in low lying places.
It will be rainy this afternoon in the southern region. The Mekong Delta will have shower and thunderstorms from October 5-10.
