Hot spell continues challenging records across North Vietnam

Scorching heat will continue to bake in the North and some central provinces in Vietnam with temperatures exceeding 40 degrees Celsius at some places from June 3 to 5, the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting (NCHMF) said.

With the warm low pressure in the North and some central provinces from Thanh Hoa to Phu Yen in next couples of days, these places will continue to roast in temperatures ranging from 37 degrees Celsius to more than 40 degrees Celsius,

The scorching weather is forecast to cool off from June 6.  

In Hanoi, where the heat wave begins to hit locals as early as seven in the morning, the hot spell will keep temperatures from 37 degrees Celsius to 39 degrees Celsius.

Strong wind and rough sea will hit locales surrounding the Gulf of Tonkin  

In Ho Chi MInh City, there is a lot of sunshine in day and shower in evening. Temperature ranges from 25 to 34 Celcius degree.
