The northern provinces of Vietnam were affected by hot weather with daily temperature at 30- 31 degrees Celsius during last month which caused children and adults have been infected with the disease.

Currently, a cold front is forcast to appear in the northern region of Vietnam. By February 28, the cold front is predicted to sweep cross the east- northern provinces; and then shoulder over the west- northern and central provinces, warned by the National Hydrology Meteorology Forecast Center.
Because of the influence of the cold front, the northern central and central provinces will generate showery weather and thunderstorms in next days. According to weather forecast, cold weather will return the northern region on March 1.
Meanwhile, Ho Chi Minh City and the southern region will be sunny daytime without rain, with the average daily temperature of 22- 34 degrees Celsius. The highest temperature in Ho Chi Minh City is predicted to reach at 36 degrees Celsius on March 2.
