Landslides, flash floods to hit Quang Ngai, Binh Dinh provinces

The National Center for Hydro Meteorological Forecasting said heavy rains are covering over the central provinces of Quang Ngai and Binh Dinh with total rainfall of 20 to 50mm.

Several part of Tra Khuc river, An Chi river and Ve river, the highest rainfall was measured to be 76mm to 91.2mm

Due to the affection of tropical low- pressure system, in next six hours, landslides, and flash flood can occur in the lowland areas of Quang Ngai and Binh Dinh provinces.

The districts of Tra Bong, Son Tay, Son Ha, Ba To and Minh Long (Quang Ngai); An Lao, Van Canh, Tay Son (Binh Dinh) will experience landslides and flash floods.

Heavy rains can also flood the Quang Ngai City, warned by the center.
