By May 6, hot air is forecast to expand in the northern and central coastal region with its peak temperature of 34- 37 degrees Celsius, and 36- 39 degrees Celsius respectively. Meanwhile, the daytime temperature in the southern provinces is reducing slightly.
The National Hydrology Meteorology Forecast Center yesterday reported that this is the first massive heat wave hitting Vietnam during this year’s summer season.
The weather condition is predicted to last in next three or five days. Accordingly, the highest temperature in the northern and central region will reach at 37- 40 degrees Celsius, even up to over 40 degrees Celsius in some places.
