Amid the high risk period, the Directorate General of Forestry Protection Department suggested every provnce should directly co-cooperate with the Steering Committee on Forest Sustainable Development Target Program and authorities to clearly assign duties, actively apply measures to prevent forest fire and protect forests.
Additionally, the authorities at all levels need to regularly educate people so that they must also be aware of what their responsibilities are in preventing wildfires and raise people awareness about forest fire fighting and prevention in residential areas, inspect forest protection tasks, the ministry said.
