The Hydro-meteorological stations in Asia-Pacific warned, a tropical depression is powerfully operating in the southeastern territorial water of the Philippines with a gusty wind of level 7-9.

Within next couple of days, the low pressure system is predicted to move the northwestward approaching the islands of the central- Philippines.

It is expected to develop into the ninth typhoon hitting the mid- East Sea on November 22.  
In the face of serious damages in the south- central region during recent days, the National Steering Committee for Natural Disasters Prevention yesterday held a meeting to instruct necessary measures to overcome consequences after the storm. 

At the meeting, the Center confirmed the ninth typhoon will directly influence in the south- central region where typhoon Toraji just swept through. 

From November 23- 27, the many locations are forecast to suffer a spell of peak rainfall. Tran Quang Hoai, Chief of the Office of the Central Steering Committee on Natural Disaster Prevention suggested the locations, ministries, departments and relevant agencies to continue keeping eye on the regional rainfall forecast news, check reservoir operation to release water and ensure safety for downstream areas. 

The Center said that typhoon Toraji weakened into a tropical low pressure zone after it entered the southern territorial waters of Ninh Thuan and Binh Thuan provinces.
