North suffering medium- heavy rains

The northern mountainous provinces have suffered long- lasting medium- heavy rains from last night till this morning because of an influence of tropical low pressure trough and low turbulence.

The highest rainfall in some localities increased up 68- 147 mm, reported the National Hydrology Meteorology Forecast Center. 

The weather center warned that the whole area would continue experiencing torrential rain, cyclone, thunderstorm and powerful wind  in next couple of days due to an impact of tropical low pressure trough and low turbulence.

The maximum rainfall in some northern mountainous provinces as Dien Bien, Lai Chau, Son La, Lao Cai, Yen Bai and Hoa Binh could up to 50- 120 mm.
