While the northern region is hitting by extreme heavy rains, the flood level is predicted to rise on the rivers of Thao, Da and Thai Binh, issued by the National Center for Hydro Meteorological Forecasting this morning July 25.

The flood peak on Thao and Lo rivers will be able to reach to warning levels two and three from July 25 to 27.

Flash floods and landslides are also forecast to hit the northern mountainous provinces of Lai Chau, Son La, Dien Bien, Lao Cai, Yen Bai, Ha Giang, Bac Kan and Cao Bang.

The center warned local authorities should pay attention on latest weather forecast and have necessary measures to deal with the complicated situation.
