Scorching hot weather to persist on holidays

Uninterrupted heat wave accompanied with rains and thunderstorms at night will cover nationwide on April 30 and May 1, reported the National Hydrology Meteorology Forecast Center yesterday.

However by May 1, one more new heat wave will hit the northern provinces with its peak temperature of 35- 36 degrees Celsius. Rains and thunderstorms will hit the region at night so people need to eye thunderstorm and hails during the rain.
 
The hot weather is forecast to maintain in the central coastal provinces from April 30 to May 3 with its highest temperature of 36- 39 degrees Celsius.
 
The temperature in the Central Highlands will be at 33- 35 degrees Celsius while the one in southwestern region will reach at 32- 36 degrees Celsius.
 
Rains and thunderstorms will occur in the area of Ho Chi Minh City and southeastern region on the large scale during night time in the next few days.
 
The temperature in Ho Chi Minh City will reach 37 degrees Celsius.
