Southern region maintains dry climate despite of entering rainy season

Since early this month, the extremely high temperature nationwide has been predicted to increase around 0, 5- 1 degree Celsius in comparison with previous months and years, reported the National Hydrology Meteorology Forecast Center yesterday.

Because of the influence of the high temperature, the country will maintain dry climate next months.

At present, southern region marks well-defined seasonal change, which caused the sharply increasing rainfall in the area of Central Highlands and southern provinces.  However, because of lacking long-term groundwater, dry situation in locals has not yet reduced.

Southern region enters hot weather, therefore, there are 2-3 hot waves in the south eastern region; meanwhile, northern region will experience 2-3 cold front with weaken intensity.

The National Hydrology Meteorology Forecast Center also predicted that 1-2 storms and tropical low pressures will enter into East Sea this month.
